Babies Running Wild at Pt. Reyes Nat'l Seashore

As part of my birthday celebrations, the family went to Pt. Reyes National Seashore for a day.  We ran around Drakes Beach, went out to the lighthouse, checked out some elephant seals and then had dinner at my favorite restaurant, the Station House Cafe in Pt. Reyes Station.  It was  a very nice day.  The kids liked running around on the beach - naked.  Luckily, it was unusually warm at the beach that day.  Here are some pictures.

Sylvie, Rex & I enjoying the cold surf.

Sylvie loves the water...

...and the sand

Rex loves running around naked.

The Pt. Reyes lighthouse.

Sylvie & her Dad took the long walk down.  Sylvie got a piggy-back ride from Dad back up.

Looks like it was a glorious day, perfect for the outing. What a neat picture of the lighthouse. And the one of you and the two kids on the beach is my new desktop picture.

I can't wait to see you -- only 9 days until our visit! Love, Nan
